First, I framed "Golden Poppies" from the March/April 1986 issue of Cross Stitch & County Crafts. Yes, I started it way back then. It sat in a box for over 20 years about half-stitched until I retrieved it last year. It had been put away without the threads or the chart. Last night I put the final stitches into Little House Needleworks' Snow White just before midnight and added it to the pile. Please ignore the errors. My inability to read/follow a chart is well documented. :) I love how it turned out, though, even with the boo-boos and on aida. She sent me this adorable Snowman, which my lack of photography skills do not show to its best advantage. I tried with and without flash, but this was the best I could do. I really need to invest in a better camera and/or a tripod. All pictures *should* be clickable for a closer view.

It looks like I will have to post pictures at another time because Blogger is not playing nice right now and I also forgot my camera with the pictures of what Melissa sent to me.

All the cross stitch is done as well as the majority of the beading on four of the five trees. I'm hoping to find enough stitching time to add it to my short list of 2010 finishes this forecasted-to-be-rainy weekend.
No stitchy pics, so I'll share a shot from our summer vacation.
